Two Dutch court cases might change the world. In 2019, a lawsuit against the Dutch government over emissions was won. “There’s a great deal of consensus in the scientific and international community over the urgent need for a reduction in greenhouse gases by at least 25% by developed countries,” the court said.

Now the same lawyer, Roger Cox, is taking Shell to court. “This is a historic moment because we are backed by so many people. This is actually ‘the People versus Shell’” — Roger Cox, writer of Revolution Justified
