Thanks for the overview Karen! I like the idea of an Illumination-fiction. Fiction can be so transformative. And has been for many of us readers and writers in our young days and later in life.
I’ve become imaginative (Murakami and Isabelle Allende) and daring (Pippi Longstocking). I’ve learned intuitively (Paolo Cuelho) more than rationally. And think about the science fiction (Star Wars) that feeds innovation. Phantasy can be wiser than the greatest philosophers (Robin Hobb). And poetry can change lives (Maya Angelou).
