Thank you so much for writing this long reply, Julian. I love your words, your feeling, the images you paint in my head.

Personally, I think that Nature is doing that job for us. Young people are born more sensitive. They feel it. So, all I’m doing is playing the and-and game instead of the blame or-or game. And I’m trying to find rational words for what I do see. Because maybe, just maybe I will have given one young person the courage to feel for real without becoming consumed by fear.

The leaders will come. But not in our generation, I think. I just hope that our undercurrent can inspire the leaders of the future… The Greta’s and Malala’s. We need them to be supported and become wise beings who will find much much more than what you and I can think of today…

And about doing… I know we should do less instead of more. I myself practice that actively (I even love the paradox nowadays). But people in our culture are doers. So, I steer them towards learning from Nature, being immersed, and be active in ecosystem restoration and understanding regeneration. From there, positive spirals will be found. I’m not fearful. I just see the evolution. And can only strive to be a better ancestor than I was yesterday…
