Regeneration should not just be restoration of ecosystems in the sense how many patriarchic permaculturists think we need to do it.
In my perception, regeneration is also about healing the past. Yes, colonialism. Yes, slavery.
And designing new (local, low-tech or high-tech) solutions with the vast natural wisdom of systemic design, symbiosis and flow.
And, yes, that also means the human right to design local solutions by local people and according to their local (and sometimes indigenous) knowledge of local ecosystems. And implementing according to their priorities. Bill Mollison and David Holmgren borrowed a lot of 'their' permaculture wisdom from the Aboriginals, I know...
I'm in Samantha. Sometimes you will have to be patient with me when I don't understand your point of view on a specific aspect immediately. But I have been learning fast in the past 7 years and I'll be learning even faster in the next 7, I promise!
You have every right to be angry and I support you with all my heart. Glad to hear your voice in the debate!
