Of course not. It's interconnectivity in action. All moves of all species are acting and reacting. I can't know when a virus will mutate. No one does. And microbes rule the world. And the climate. They are still the biggest biomass on earth.

However, we shouldn't let that stop us from doing climate mitigation. We know heat stress is the biggest problem. We need to cool the planet. So absorb that heat with green cities. Create freshwater with condensation. Regreen the Sinai desert because that's an acupuncture point that will calm down many hurricanes in the area (see the Weathermakers). We can do a lot.
