To be honest, first time I sent it in I heard nothing. And be it young overconfidence or not (I was 26 and kind of shy). I don’t know where I found the courage. But I sent them an email (or called them, I can’t remember).

And they said to me all the obligatory things. No, we never publish anything from an unknown writer. No use sending it again.
