Like your stand. Two additions.

  1. I see what you want in the cities. But the countryside could also be redesigned with with regard to food. Regenerative farming can really restore ecosystems and teach us how to live within planetary boundaries. And not everybody loves to live in a city. With awareness, we can create enough space for humans and other species.
  2. Thanks for mentioning the donut economy. Great way of transitioning. If we combine it with the blue economy principles, we will be able to create local, vibrant economies by ecological intensification. It needs diversity, it needs radical business models in which companies create multiple values with synergy instead of scale. And it needs care and responsibility.

But it’s is definitely possible and I see it happening in many places. Do you know the Dutch city of Amsterdam is already working with the donut economy for real? Love it!
