I think big brother in this respect is DeFi and edge computing on local routers. Fights crime (pickpocketing instead of bank robbery) and gives freedom back to the people (we can share just what we want for how long we want it). For Gaia, it's balancing regions, abundantly available materials, and biomimicry that does the trick. I have high hopes.
