I personally think that people in the logevity business are often focussing on the wrong mechanisms of nature to achieve it.

They say genes. I say cells. (And not only me, evolutionaly biologist Lynn Margulis is my heroine!) Genes are only storers of past information and cutting and pasting has never been the way nature does it.

Cells have all the answers. And when we add the magnificent field of epigenetics with it (genes can be switched on and off depending on the circumstances) we're are getting somewhere...
