I do blame Apple. They should know better and take their responsibility. The world needs to embrace circular practices to ensure limited resources (that damaged a lot in the world to produce, like Lithium) are still available for future generations.

Companies can set ethical standards and make their business models work with principles like synergy. They should act upon this knowledge. Luckily a lot of new, responsible companies do. I really hope they will outperform Apple soon and give us a much better alternative.
