Great read. And while I don’t agree with you, it is great to see it from your philosophical point of view. And I can follow your logical thinking. However, I think in essence we do agree. What you say about the world not being linear is very valid as well.

One small snippet of why I feel the butterfly effect is true. It has to do with exponential growth I think (although I’m not a scientist either, just a systemic thinker). The example I want to make is about fear and love.

At this moment everybody is sending little sparks of fear into the world. The media are making this fear even stronger by talking about it non-stop in fearful tones. It does make a hurricane.

I’m on a news diet to prevent it from touching me too hard, but that’s another story…

So my point is, if we would do that with little sparks of love, of support, of caring, then we can grow the love exponentially as well.

Don’t know if it makes any sense to you. But I feel it works…
