MENTAL HYGIENE
From a Wild Woman Back to a Better Stoic in a Few Years
Life doesn’t give you lemons for nothing
Wild Woman Stoic — not suppressing my overwhelming emotions in this third part of my life but feeling them deeply and sharing expressions only in nature and art
Blogging is a wonderful outlet for me as a journalist and economic area systemic designer because I can be fully me. Whatever my state of being. My career has been a bit strange in the 35+ years I have been working now.
I started my career as a high potential in an American chemical company. At 22, my life was full of business class flights — I had never flown before then! My life was full of high-class restuarants, customers who were arrogant enough to send perfectly great wine back 5 times, and management courses in a Hilton hotel in Paris or Vienna.
Layered with high-class art and opera performances. The first computers. Frustrating MS Dos. Male colleagues twice my age who were jealous of my youthful enthusiasm and waiting for their pensions to kick in. They were tired of life. Tired and disappointed. I promised myself back then, I would be different. Ohhhhh so different!
