The person you describe is like a deep lake. You think there’s calm nothingness when you just look on the surface, but when you dive deep there’s beauty and insight and wisdom.

And emotion and love.

I really hope people who are like this lake feel safe enough one day to come out of the dark deep waters, connect to other people and shine their light.
