Ah, a story about the inspiring Chido! I haven't met her (yet) but I do know Gunter Pauli well. One correction, he’s not German but Belgian.

Chido is an inspiration to many and definitely to me too! In my country, The Netherlands, the mushroom example is reforming whole economic systems and business environments.

Mark Slegers and Siemen Cox of Rotterzwam are colleagues of Chido. Together with an architect and an impact investor they founded Blue City (a large building, former tropical swimming pool) as a living lab of regenerative business practices. Re-inventing business principles and the economy in Rotterdam and the rest of our country.

I applaud them all! Thank you, Maria, for writing this story. It might inspire others to start regenerative businesses too. With activism and lots of love.
